BEGINNERS CHINOISERIES – COURSE INFORMATION
One day chinoiserie workshop
Come and learn the art of chinoiserie in this one day workshop with Clare Sprawson and Jo Poulton.
Clare worked with de gournay painting birds, trees, butterflies ect on silk so she has a wealth of experience and knowledge, she is also is an amazing illustrator who has greeting cards published regularly and exhibits her work in London galleries
In this beginners one day workshop you will learn about creating backgrounds for your work, traditional brushwork techniques, how to create transfers, and paint a cherry blossom mural in the chinoiserie style.
If time allows we can add a bird or maybe a butterfly!!
After the class you will take home a panel you have painted and you will be ready to apply your skills to walls or a piece of furniture! Exciting!!
